Wedding at The Cotton Mills - "Shirley" A Good Time!
Two friends of mine, Lauren and Matt just got married at the Cotton Mill in Monroe, GA.
The Spring wedding was abound with understated elegance and rustic charm fitting of an old cotton mill.
The bridesmaids were dressed in black cocktail dresses and the men (and Groom) were sporting gray tuxes. The Bride was beautiful in white with a small train.
After an intimate ceremony, guests were welcomed into the reception hall which was adorned with southern charm.
Lanterns hanging from the rafters guide guests inside toward the bar and buffet.
Wooden Chairs, White linen and burlap curtain ties and centerpiece mats offer a soothing break from the outside sun.
The focal point of the reception had to have been the cakes! The traditional cake was elegant and sat upon a rustic tree stump. Southern Hydrangeas decorated the beautiful white cake.
And the Groom's cake..... well, it speaks for itself! Kids and adults alike were lined up to get one!
Golf ball cake pops sat upon a bed of grass offer a whimsical touch.
Matt & Lauren - - What a beautiful, sweet ceremony. Congratulations you two and thanks again for letting us be a part of it. Enjoy your new journey as husband and wife!
