An organized Closet: Before & After

Saturdays are usually my cleaning days - unless I have appointments. I recently posted about organizing before or during the holiday weekend...

So, I guess I need to take my own advice. I am pretty OCD about most closets and shelves, but sometimes life gets in the way...or husbands! (he does not share my desire to have everything perfectly organized). So I decided to tackle one of his utility closets.

BEFORE

 

 

This is one of the closets in our utility/Laundry Room. It houses laundry detergent, but lately has also been housing random items that my husband sticks in this closet....

Using several baskets from Target and TJ Maxx, I was able to start the organizing project! I used a mixture of lined baskets and ones with a chalk-board name plate:

AFTER!

I think the "After" is much better ~ and it didn't take more than 30 minutes to organize!
Everything now has a place and each basket is labeled and details its contents.
Onto the next project!
