Garden Makeover - It's Not Just for Gnomes!

I've been wanting to spruce up my backyard which has suffered months of neglect. Now that the temperatures are in the 80's, I have the "bug" to do some gardening!

I started with my neighborhood Pottery Barn for some inspiration:

I Love the ivy laced topiaries that frame the Front door - - What a Dramatic Entrance. These live topiaries look great throughout the year. Add white lights at Christmas, or Easter Eggs for a Spring look. They even work as a backdrop for spooky pumpkins for Fall Fun!

These Isadora Planters are crafted from a light weight mix of cement and fiberglass; giving the pots a warm, terra cotta aged look.

Although these pots look great, they are quite pricey at $99 a piece..

I found a very similar product at my local Hobby Lobby for a third of the price!

In addition, I found another Save at my local Garden Center.

This is a Windsor Conservatory Lantern from Pottery Barn

The small lantern is $65 and the large is $95.

Now, here is the lantern I found at Family Tree, my local gardening Mecca!

This lantern from Family Tree is larger than the Pottery Barn Lanterns and is $55!

Getting the "Look" of a Pottery Barn styled catalog is way more fun when you find bargains.

I have been looking for a visually appealing solution for my garden hose storage. Those hose reel carts are not the cutest tools in the world, although practical.

I saw this option in my Pottery Barn catalog:

The Global Garden Hose Pot is a standout and keeps the hose neatly coiled. But at $119, I could put a lot more "umph" into my backyard.

Lowe's has this attractive and budget-friendly option for only $29!

Just as my blog profile suggests, I Love getting "The Look" for Less. Don't get me wrong, I do love my Pottery Barn,  Z- Gallery, Restoration Hardware, West Elm and Williams Sonoma...

But I also Love my TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby and Lowe's!!

These are some other Garden "Gotta Haves" :

HAPPY GARDENING!

  2. I think modern garden is the best fit to your contemporary home. Beside the beautiful interpretation of modernism of the garden you are spared of the maintenance of it. Thanks!
